Overview
I first worked on the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park identity in 2015 as a freelance designer, when a dedicated visual identity was developed for the project. I created the logo and core visual direction that established the foundation of the brand.
After joining DEWA, I continued supporting the identity’s development and application across different communication and environmental touchpoints, contributing to its consistency and evolution over time.
Challenge
The project required a distinct identity that could stand independently while remaining connected to DEWA’s wider brand ecosystem. The challenge was to create a strong visual foundation that could support a major clean-energy initiative and scale across different phases, applications and future developments.
Solution
I developed the logo and core visual identity as the starting point of the Solar Park brand, establishing its visual language and design foundation. Over time, I continued contributing to the identity’s application and evolution across print, digital, signage and environmental branding, helping maintain continuity as the project expanded.
